265/35 ZR18's on A-Spec Wheel

Hey everyone. I've had a few requests to see what the 265's look like on the car. Sorry for the late reply (everyone who's PM'd me). Hope these come out okay.

I guess the only caveat is that I have an '04 with the 8.5" wheel. The guy worked hard to seat these tires. He said that he needed every bit of wheel to fit these things.

I really like the tires. I stayed with the Yoko ES-100's for no other reason than I like the tread pattern the best. Looked at other makes, but hey. This is the first time since I've owned the car (31K miles), that I can go through a car wash and not have to worry about scratching anything. The gunmetal wheels are so damn sensitive!

David

Larger Pics

By popular demand...

I know they are different sizes. Still figuring how to do this. Sorry.

Those gunmetal Aspec wheels really compliment your car. Very nice setup!

Looks good D. Looks like someone got a little creative with the mesh around the "A".

Good Look on the car. I had a set of Yoko ES100's. they started humming bad after 10'000 miles. Yoko replaced them with AVS DB S2's. The ES100 tires were cupped on the treads, causing the noise.

It is lowered, but only by the A-Spec suspension setup installed at my dealership. If memory serves, it's a 1" drop all the way around. The rear looks alot better IMHO. I want to lower the front another 1-1.5" to better match the rear. I sure hate to mess up the front geometry since the tires are so expensive (and soft).

Yeah I did. Plan on doing the entire opening, but have not been the mood to remove as much as needs removing to do it properly. The "A" was quite easy, and came out well. The whole opening should look really interesting when done. Such a great DIY. Thanks for the excellent writeup. Looks much better (esp for a price of $12).
