255 Will it work without Rubbing??

Hello All,

I need advice from all you guru out there!!

I am planing to go with a 19x9.5 with and offset of +38.
the front i want to go 19x8.5 with and offset of +38.

The drop will be .5-.75 as i'm putting on the A-spec Kit.

Can i go with 255/35/19 for my rear without having any issues with rubbing??

Could i go 245/40/19 in the front to give me that little more meat on the tire??

I was told 235/35/19 for front and 245/35/19 for the rear. Would like to go a little wider but without making any mods.

I have a base 2008 TL.

Thanks

I had a friend who had a 05 TL with the A-Spec suspension. He was running 19x8 in the front and 19x9.5 in the rear with 265s. He was rubbing with the 265s.

Keep in mind that the extra "meat" on the front tires could throw off your speedo a little.

Yes, you will rub with 225's. If your fenders rae rolled then you might be able to get away with it.

I would go with a 245/35 in the rear...and possibly the same up front, but it might rub a bit during compression and sharp turns.
