2005 A-Spec Alignment

I'm searching for the 2005 A-Apec Suspension installation guide to see if the geometry is different from the non-A-Apec. I've see a post that has what is now a dead link to what might be what I'm looking for. I've also looked in the 3G Garage and found some instructions, but was for a 2004 A-Spec. I'm fairly confident Acura changed the geometry for 2005. Could someone post with the new instructions please or post a working link?

Thanks

I JUST got back from my dealer who performed an alignment on my '05 manual TL with ASPEC suspension. The car was aligned to new Acura engineering specs that have yet to be distributed to the dealers. I guess I'm the guinea pig, but I like what they've done. The car handles fine with the new specs. I'm hoping that this will eliminate the rapid rear tire wear (insides were toast in 7000 miles) that I previously experienced. Here are the specs that Acura used on my car while the car was loaded with four 68 kilogram sandbags...

Front camber -0.5 deg +/- 0.5 deg.
Front toe 0.0 deg +/- 0.08 deg.
Rear camber -1.0 deg +/- 0.5 deg.
Rear Toe 0.0 deg ( no tolerance was specified to me but I would assume +/- 0.08 deg)

The new specs differ in that the rear toe nominal setting has been changed to 0.0 degrees while the car is loaded with sandbags. The old nominal rear toe setting was 0.08 degrees with the car not loaded.

THIS thread seems to be the most definitive thread to date on standard and aspec alignment specs.

One thing I would recommend to everyone is to try and deal with your dealerships first on this matter and then if no fix, contact Acura customer services # at (800) 999-1009. My dealership Valencia Acura wouldn't do anything for me so I contacted customer service.

They are aware of this rear tire wear problem and were very polite and pleasant to talk to. They gave me a case # and told me to wait until one of the case members contacted me in order to receive reimbursement for the tires I had to purchase. I now have the Toyo Proxes4 245/45/17 and they feel alot better than those Bridgestone Potenza (HPT) that came on the vehicle, plus they are a lot cheaper at $115.00 a tire.

I'll keep you guys posted here by next week since of the holiday and let you know the outcome. If more and more people continue to complain and make this known then the better for all of us. Have a great and safe New Years.

You're kidding. Acura Customer Service actually wants to help you? All of the experiences I've had with them have resulted in phone call shouting matches, and "nice" is definitely not a word I would use to describe their reps. I would say that is a fantastic improvement if they really have revamped their Customer Service to actually DO something for the person who just spent $35,000 hard earned bucks on their vehicles.

From November 2004 Acura Service News bulletin. You'll note the difference when you compare this to the "beta" specifications posted earlier in this thread.

Here are my alignment before and after figures. I just got back this morning from the dealer and here is the print out. My car is lowered with the Comptech springs:

I am having this done next week, can someone please confirm / validate these numbers for me?

I just spoke with my dealer service advisor whom I consider to be very knowledgable and he has not heard of new specs, and has never heard of using sandbags.

Before I go and ask someone to do something crazy is there any official TSB yet on this from Acura or more official source to get this confirmed from?

Thanks
I have an 06 AT newly installed a-spec if that helps or matters at all.
