19 inch

i need some information on 19 inch wheel for 2004 TL
i just lowered my car with tein spring..
and thinking to put 19 inch with
front : 19 * 8 235/35
rear: 19 * 8.5 245/35 or 255/35

i like the rear tire widder than the front....
i never seen anyone in this forum do that ( correct me if i am wrong)

thank u

i really do not see the reason for wider tires in the rear since you have a FWD car. the staggered wheel sizing is mostly meant for RWD cars.

I agree that I don't know of anyone on the forum to do this...I realize that the staggering may not be beneficial performance wise, but it will look awesome. Anyway to squeeze 9" wides in the back since you are going staggered? Pretty sure it will fit.

As for the tire size, I think you are right on. People are putting 245s on the stock tires which is rediculous...no need to have all that extra meat on this car, it just overwhelms the rim and adds weight.

What wheel/tire combo are you looking at?

I seem to remember a Redondo Red TL with Axis Seven Mods that were staggerd. I don't think it was lowered though.

Also, someone recently posted pics of his car with a lower offset wheel on the rear. This might give you the look you're going for. I think it was Supercomputer or something like that.

Edit: Link to Supercomputers post.
