Anyways... I know someone on this board was talking about a Woo Woo Woo noise coming from the tires... kinda annoying. Anyone know exactly what this is caused from?

Already PM'd you on this one, but I just wanted the whole board to hear this too...the tires are just extremely loud. This is in part to the rubber compound used (which helps to make the tires sticky), the fact that the tires are relatively hard, and the tread pattern. All of these components combine and leave you with the sound that you are driving on flat tires all day long. Really, really loud....get Falken Azenis instead...the Falkens were backordered when I got my wheels, otherwise those would have been on my car.

One solution is to inflate the tires a bit more than some people might normally want to...the max PSI on my tires is 50....the place that mounted/balanced the tires filled to 38 or so, then I added air and brought it up to about 46....the higher PSI reduced the contact patch a bit and made the tires slightly less noisy.

The tires are great performance tires, but the noise is a little too much of a sacrafice IMHO. Surprised that RennTech uses these for all of their Mercedes applications...figure Benz owners would want slightly more quiet tires...then again, when Renn tech tunes your engine to make 600HP, you probably don't hear the tires much!

I believe the Black Foose Rims are 3 Piece Rims and Come in Sizes -

19x8.5 and up - 35,40,50 MM off set.. they come in 20's too but I dont know the sizes.

My Rims are 19x8.5 w/ a 45MM offset. Nitto 555 245/35/19 -

I wanted black too but I don't think they fit the TL

1. The Nitto Tires are loud but they look great...
2. My car feels like I'm driving a MiniVan (Ride Height) My car is on A-Specs so I don't know if I'll lower it...

Yah I didnt want chrome at first but after seeing them in person on a black car... I changed my mind.

I already have A-Spec suspensions so I dont think I'll be lowering it soon....
