I'm thinking on going 18x9.5 +38 all around or with 18x8.5 front and 18x9.5 rear. Which setup would you guys recommend? Tire size? Lowered with eibach pro kit spring and stock shocks.

if i wanted to fit mb battles 17x9.5 et 15 on 215/40/17 tires, is a front camber kit a must? I can have all 4 fenders rolled but dont want to deal with pulling and buying a front camber kit. I do have a rear camber kit. Also if i wanted to run xxr 527 18x8.75 et 20 with 225/40/18 tires could i get away with just rolling fenders. BTW i am dropped 2.5 inches and the the highest im willing to go is a 2 inch drop.

don't think you'll need camber kit in front... just roll ur fenders and you should be in the clear.

and yes you'll be able to work the 18s w/ just a roll.

I had 18x9.5 +22 w/ 225/40 without rolling my fenders and I didn't have rubbing problems even w/ a full car. Only problem was my fronts hitting bumps during turns

you'll be fine!

Could I run an 18x9.5" wheel +40 offset with 255/40/18 tires on stock suspension with no rubbing issues? Would the wheels stick out from the car and look dumb?

New Years bump. I just ordered 18x9.5 + 35 all around XXR 009 like apsectl253 has above. I'm lowered on Tein S-Tech springs and plan on 235/40 front and 245/40 rear. My fenders aren't currently rolled, will post pics once they are on.

So if i were to get a wheel that is 19x9.5 or 18x9.5 with a +22 would i need spacers, and quite frankly what is that +22 like what does it stand for?

No you would not need spacers. The offset refers to how far the rim either sits under the fender or out towards the fender. The higher the number +45 stock offset would mean the rim will sit further under the fender. The lower the number +22 the more the rims will sit outside of the fender. 9.5 +22 will be pretty flush with the fender and will look great. 18 or 19" rims is up to you.

My wheels in 18x9.5 +22. Fits perfect! You will need some fender wrk though and stretched tires if your lowered.

I am pretty sure they would fit too. I am running 18x9.5 +22 with ISC coilovers 2.5 drop f/r, wrap in 225/40r18. Just run it at 1.5 drop to be safe. I have to slighty roll my rears and roll/pull my fronts to stay slam.

What do you mean stretched tires when lowered?

^^^ Probably needs stretched so that when you lowered the tires don't rub.

Stretched tire means you get a thinner tire than the actual wheel and it stretches the tire sidewalls and helps prevent rubbing if your lowered.

What tire size are you running here? How many inches it lowered? And when you say fender work, did you just roll them or did do a pull too? This looks sick.

Sorry for all the questions. I've been combing through threads and it looks like 35+ and 38+ offsets are what a lot of folks are running but it still looks a bit shy of flush.

^^^ looks like stock body no pulling but rolling your fenders and quarters could save you a lot in the long run I would highly suggest doing it, especially if you don't plan to stretch or camber.
I'm running 18x10 et37 in the rear and 18x8.5 et10 in the front but, I'm also very low and cambered

he had to be running 235's or less.
i'm running 245's on the very same exact wheel and while it's still a stretch, his looks more narrow than mine!

Acurazine Pro Tip: click on user name and browse through users posts. 06tl4life was pretty active and most likely he posted his tire sizes in other threads
