Hey fellow ziners,


I have a question regarding tire size to run. I have a set of 18x8 +20 wheels and need to figure out what size tire to run. Can you give me your opinion


Debating between these 2


Continental DW


235/40 R18
or
225/40 R18


I am not lowered, might do a slight drop on springs later but not 100% sure yet. I also do not want to do any fender mods. I want the wheel to be flush to the rim and avoid stretching if possible. I absolutely hate that look!!!

Those wheels are nearly an inch more aggressive than stock wheels when it comes to offset. At stock height you should be alright, but when it comes to being lowered, you'll need to do some work. You'll need a slight stretch if you don't want to roll your rear fenders, but since you don't want to stretch, you'll need to run more negative camber to clear the fenders.

235/40/18 will give you a "traditional" wheel/tire look and the 225 will look a bit narrower. If you want a true plug and play setup, I suggest finding wheels with a higher offset.
