18X7.5 vs 18X8.5 rims

I have a 2007 TL Type S with brembo brakes, I'm wondering if the 18X7.5 42 offset will fit this car also what will be the difference if I go with 18X8.5. Thanks

most probably neither of those wheels will fit. What wheel is it? Don't go 7.5" cuz it's less then stock width.

I'm not sure of the offset but I wouldn't go less than 8". I like 8.5"
