18" summer tire suggestions - don't break the bank

I have 960AS all season tires that are less than a year old for my stock 17" wheels. Plan to get either 18" Inspyres or A-Spec Ebony Chrome wheels, so I need something just for summer with a good tread life.

Trying not to spend too much as the Bridgestones were not cheap.

Thanks

I'm not much on a straight summer tire as many are soft and don't afford longevity, but take a look at the following special at Tire Rack:
Dunlop SP Sport Maxx
(Max Performance Summer)
SPECIAL OFFER: Buy four and get a $60 mail-in rebate.
Size: 245/40ZR18
2005 Production
Serv. Desc: 93Y Load Index 93 = 1433lbs (650kg) per tire
Speed Rating “Y” = 186mph (300kph) UTQG: Treadwear: 240
Traction: AA
Temperature: A240 AA A
Price: $105.00 (each) Closeout
Estimated Availability: In Stock

Can't beat the price $420 minus $60 rebate=$360.
Normally $219 each.

If you're looking for an A/S tire, look at the Yokohama W4s with a 9.2" tread width 245/40-18 for $145 each.

Its not a summer Tire, but a good UHP. Goodyear Eagle GTs. I got them on my 17s and also on my 18's now. I like em so far.

Discount Tire had them for 150 a piece, with a 20 dollar good year rebate and 20 dollars off instantly when you buy four.
