Ah, the eternal questions. Getting a '02 TL-S. Need input on wheel decisions. Was planning on getting black but saw the diamond white -- wow, neat color, kind of a while pearl/metallic color and a lot lower maint. than black which shows all the light scratches in the sun. Blue was better than I expected too.

So now that I'm leaning towards diamond white, I can't decide silver or chrome wheels. Compared stock silver and chrome and contrary to my (and others) belief that chrome goes better on dark and silver on light, the chrome edged out the silver but that may be because the stock Acura 17's are pretty bland wheels especially in silver. I'm thinking high-gloss silver with a machined rim might be the answer?? The other reason I'm leaning towards silver is that it seems a lot of the chrome wheels in the under $300/ea range have problems with the finish. There sure is a lot more to choose from in Silver. Also looking best place to buy?

I would love to hear people's opinions on color/wheel combinations. As far as specific wheels, after lots of browsing here are the ones I've narrowed it down to so far. I'd be interested mostly in any comments people have on value (quality for the price) of these wheels in addition to your opinion on looks and fit.

Don't even bother with ADR or Zenitti, they will bend on the smallest of the small potholes! and most of the other wheels you listed don't come in the right offset. I suggest you look into some quality Japanese forged wheel like Volk, RH, Alstadt, etc...

Hey jcrist, check out the Manaray VR5 Quest....Tim sells them at autocarparts.com

There's a picture of them on the first page of the site....

They run about 1000.00 for a set of 4. With a +48 offset too.

Might be a option for ya...Its hard to find resonable wheels with a high offset.
