08 Type S Wheels on TL or Civic

I bought a set of Type S wheels yesterday for my '06 TL and now I'm not certain if it's a good color combo for my car. So, I'm debating on whether to stick with the stockers and install the type S wheels on my Civic. I actually rather have the '07-'08 TL stockers on my '06 TL. What do you think...what looks the best?

just remember the tire on the TL is a lot bigger than the one on the civic, so take that into consideration...

If you're going to keep the Type S wheels... put them on the TL.

The TL wheels look goofy on the Civic @ stock ride height. If you lowered it they might look better.

The "S" wheels are Fugly. Sell them on ebay & use the money for some nice 3rd party wheels

Right, the Civic tires are 215/45/17 and my TL's are 235/45/17. They fill the wheel well nicely...I'll probably end up dropping this one a few inches.

IMHO, The Type S wheels do look good on few TL's if seen, but they weren't the same color as mine. I'm thinking about selling them and possibly buying aftermarket wheels or maybe the 07-08 TL stockers. Then install my old TL stockers on the civic.

I appreciate everyone's feedback.

so you have to put 215/45-17 on the type s wheels so you don't throw the odo off... but i think if you lowered the car either of the tl wheels on the civ would look good

TLAdvanced-Your type S rims are a great color combo with Kinetic Blue Pearl....I love that color. I need to find a pic of a Royal Blue with Type S wheels.

Thanks! I like em, but am still considering an upgrade. Maybe somebody can Photoshop them onto that color for you!?

Dang it TLAdvanced....you just cost me $32K. I fell in love with your KBP Type S and had to have one for myself. Picked her up yesterday. At least it solves my problem with trying to find replacement wheels for my 06 RBP car....didn't think it would cost this much.

I also picked up a set of Civic EX wheels on craigslist for the Civic LX and enjoy the 5 spoke wheels.
