07 RL ASPECS on a 07 TL-S?

so today i met up with someone who recently bought a tsx with aspecs. he replaced the aspecs with another set of rims and sold me the aspecs. i assumed since they were on the tsx that they were a 5x114.3 bolt pattern. i checked the offset on the back of the rim to confirm they were +45 which fits the tl-s and brought it home. however when i got back home i googled the part number on the back of the rim and it associated it to an 07 RL ASPEC 5x115 bolt pattern +45 offset. i cant find any more information other than this one website that popped up. if in fact these are 5x115 bolt pattern rims will it be okay to put these on my 07 TL-S or is this something i should avoid? i googled this as well and there were mixed opinions. most advice was to add hubcentric rings and i should be fine. any advice for me??

RL is 5 x 120. They won't fit if they are RL wheels.

BTW - hub centric rings don't ehlp the bolt pattern as far as I know. They are adapters for different hub sizes. All Acuras have the same hub bore. 64.1mm, iirc.

so maybe this website just had misleading info? is there a place i can look up the acura part number to see the info on the rim? i tried googling and searching acurazine but i couldnt find anything. all the aspec part numbers for the tl began with sep 200..

You can look up part numbers here:

http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/...=&inputstate=#

But it won't tell you PCD on the various wheels.

why not just mount the wheel yourself and test it?

i was going to try it today once i got home from work. i dont really work on cars so i was worried at first that i wouldnt be able to tell whether it was a 5x114.3 or 5x115 bolt pattern on the rims since the difference is so minimal. however, i think that website just had misleading info because i dont think acura has ever used a 5x115 bolt pattern so im pretty sure my rims are 5x114.3. its weird i tried using the website given above and contacting dealerships regarding the part number on the back of my rims but no one can find it..

I am pretty sure if you tried to mount it you would know, i don't think you are able to even get a non 5x114.3 wheel to fit at all.

unfortunately this is not possible... you will have to get a spacer/wheel adapter

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/4-Bil...Q5fAccessories

the problem... they are 1.25" thick which is over 30mm thick... for it to fit the RL wheels would have to have an offset of 55 or 60... WHICH they don't
