I'm not sure I've seen that combo before, but it would probably look good. The only colors I don't really like them on are silver and gray coz they blend in too much IMO.

On a side note...I like ES2s....

You see the pics of your old wheels in my thread yet?

KJ TL-S = yes I just saw it, looks amazing and nice. I do know one thing that I do miss the ES2, however I wanna go for a more aggressive look and a different color since I did try it on black and just back my KBP look too dull. So i'm considering hyper silver ES1.

Pohljm - If you want that aggressive look and stance you gotta have to do some fender work. Hopefully its worth it. BTW - what kind of fender did you do on yours and was it a pain in the a55? lol

TLDude876 - what is the size and offset on your TL for es1? Any pics?

Steven - oh no my old setup was in black. I'm aiming hyper silver ES1. I just hope it look nice...

Thanks. Bigger is not always better. Comfort and tire cost made me went go with 18. Ive been through a lot of wheels and ive always gone with 18. Fenders rolled, no pull

Any recommendations on tire size - i'm thinking about 225/35/19. (My rim size are 19X9.5 +22 all around).

I love 18's over 19's, the ride is a big difference to me and you can go lower on the 18's obviously. Also like he said the tire price between 18 and 19 is a noticeable difference. As far as tire size for your wheels id go with 225/35 or 225/40 but definitely get a 225 not a 235 because being that you have low offset wheels the last thing you want to do is get a huge tire, it would take away from the whole low offset look. 35 series is gonna look better than a 40 but the 40 will protect your wheel more so the profile is up to you.

^225-35-19 is the tire size you want to go with. Dont run 40 series on 19" wheels, only on 18's.

I have that exact same setup 19x9.5 +22 with 225-35-19.

Use this likn to choose tire size. I just bought ES1's 18" 9.5 fronts 10.5" rears, +22 offset. Bought conti dsw tires 215/40-18 front 235/35-18 rear. speedo will be off slightly, but ride height will be the same, and I will have enough clearance when stretched.

this is why I went with the 215/40's, little more stretch for clearance
