'07-'08 base wheels clear brembo fronts

Ok so I have an opportunity to buy a fresh set of 07-08 base wheels. My question is. I have an 04 with front brembos. From my research it says it will clear but just barely. Has anyone had any clearance issues at all. Should I buy some 3mm spacers just to be safe? Any feedback would be much appreciated

I can tell you that they will fit just fine. MY 07 type S is running the 07/08 stockies, they look great too.

I have 07 base with brembo swap and using my base wheels. It clears. Not by alot but it clears

Thank you very much. I like they way they look. And I'm going to get them powder coated on Monday. Thinking either gloss or matte black. My TL is NBP

Brembo recommended minimum clearance is 3mm.

That's what I thought. I will get some 3mm spacers just to be safe

Another member put the '07-'08 base wheels on his TLS and found that a credit card barely fit between the caliper/wheel so he used 3mm spacers all around.
