06 tl, steering feels like low caster

Hey guys, I have a 06 tl, When I had it for about a month before the trans blew up, the steering felt OK. then the trans blew up so I replaced the trans, I re-installed sub frame to what appeared to be the same spots. but as I've read they say the caster is "non adjustable" I have had an alignment performed and the camber was good, toe they set, and caster if i remember right was low at ~1.8 or maybe it was 2.5 degrees or so both sides. identical. I'm going to get the alignment reprinted if i can. However I know the rear wheels, they say that the toe in is incorrect on both rear and they are toe'd in. however again that was like that when I got the car and before removing the sub frame, I sware the steering was much better than it is now.

When I drive the car, it drives straight however its very susceptible to the road crown from say tire grooves in the road and all that, so while driving down the road the steering wheel will screw off any way. left, or even right. down the highway its not noticeable but in town it is just terrible and it annoys me.

I put the car up in the air inspected the sub frame and seeing if it looks like it could be shifted forward a bit which would increase the caster however there is some tangs that bend up into a small square slot in the frame so it would only move maybe 2 mm or so which wouldn't be much.

any ideas? Thanks.

How are your compliance bushings? Steering rack bushings? Tire type? Tire pressure?

Thanks for the replies, I'll attach a picture, I guess caster isn't as bad as I remembered. However the lower caster on the right side I know can create a more likely pull to the right but the car drives straight. I have inspected the bushings when I had the sub frame out, they all look good and no cracking or separation. Front end is tight from what I can tell. Tires wise it had the Michelin sport pilots on it, factory size of 235/45r17 and I just last night installed winter tires on it, being Michelin x-ice3. No change between the 2 as far as the steering behavior.

I have the same thing going on with my TSX. I am almost sure it has something to do with my steeriing rack. Either the rack itself or the bushings.

Thanks for the replies. I'm also scratching my head. I suppose I'll just have to live with it until something else goes. I ended up buying a lemon I think lol,
