thank you. So basically all the 3G TL wheels will fit on the my TL-s 6speed ? I'm just double checking because i heard that some wheels will not fit because of the Brembos.

All wheels that have ever come on a TL from the factory, or the A-Spec wheels, will fit all the TL's, regardless of the year or type (within the 3G world, that is). No Brembo clearing issues if you stick with OEM.

Except the spare. Just wanted to add for clarity.

You have a point. Maybe we could find a volunteer to put 4 spares on his/her TL for a photo shoot; let's see how it looks! ;-)

So my spare tire in the trunk is only good for my two rear wheels? Glad I opened this thread

You'd need to find someone with 4 17" spares for the TL-S, or you'd have 2 spares on the rear and nothing for the front.

Yes, if it's the 16" spare and you have a 6M/T car.

If you got a flat in the front you would have to take a wheel from the rear and place it up front and put the spare on the rear. =)

The TL-S and 6MT TL's come with a different spare tire that clears the brembos. It's a 16 inch rim with a sorta convex look to it.

Good to know. I don't plan on using the spare, but I do have staggered wheels with directional tires, so good to know I'd have something temporary.

The TL-S and 6 M/T spare wheel is 17". The 16" is the 07-08 non TL-S and 04-06 A/T.
