'05 TL Suspension- Need Guidance

I've read some threads, I have some slight foundation, but I'm still a month into owning the car, so I'm still learning about it daily.

The car has 102k, and city driving over little bumps it feels by no means how a luxury car should feel. I bought it used, and I know things like this occur, I just need to fix it. On the highway, it doesnt have the floaty boat feel, just dont like when I hit little dips or going over rough roads how rough it feels...

I was by no means concerned with lowering the car any, but someone said that since I'm in there replacing struts, I might as well considering a little lowering tastefully.

What setups have been proven on 3G TLs that I should do further research on? I have no problem going oem-replacement(a good brand though) to put it back to how acura intended if nothing else comes up. I want everyday driving to feel luxury... On the highway, luxury... Thats why I got this car... for comfort!

I have BC Racing coilovers on my TL and am thoroughly pleased with them. http://www.bcracing-na.com/products/br-type/

Did you look into the Teins before going with this set? I've heard good about a lot of setups, but I'm unsure the best way to fix the issues.

I had Tein SS coilovers on my previous daily driver (TSX) and they were good, too. Either one will provide you with a comfortable ride.

I'm going to look into it further. I need to find a stock TL with stock suspension and drive it, so I can compare it.. Or maybe a Lexus GS400 because I know those ride like a dream!

Well, if you want a luxury car ride, the TL is not for you as they don't have what one would call a living room ride. Lower it and chances are it will be worse, certainly not better.
If you want to soften up the ride, get some soft tires e.g. 94H rated GY Comfortred.
