Yet another rattle...I searched for this one!

Has anyone noticed a rattle in thier expandable front door pockets? My passenger one makes all kind of noise. If I open it one click the noise goes away. Can't seem to pinpoint the exact location of the rattle. If anyone has experianced this particular rattle and fixed it, advice would be greatly appriciated!

Same problem here. Are rattles covered by warranty?

Yes, they are suppose to be. It depends on your dealer, mine just so happens to suck-ass. They keep pushing me off and telling me that you can't fix rattles. BS.

remove the sunglass holders. That is the cause of the rattles in there. If u want them back, but some foam tape around them and put back in.

I seem to have the same rattle. I've removed the sunglass holder but the rattle is still there, especially when it's warm outside. Someone mentioned the metal plate underneath where it says "Acura" (you see it when you open your door - I forgot what that part is called) rattles. If you put some cushion underneath, it eliminates the rattle. I tried this but my rattle is still there . My dealer "could not duplicate customer's claim" so it didn't get fixed. VERY FRUSTRATING RATTLE!

I know what you're saying about the dealer....I did check the Acura plates in the door jambs and when I tpped on it it did make a rattle but not the one I am hearing. I don't think those plates rattle when the door is shut. We can all keep looking and hopefully we can take this dattle down!

find some silicone feet and install them where the lid contacts the door panel.

silicone feet can be bought from homedepot

I went a step further and used silicone sealant and glued the lid shut.
