Yet another 3x3 question

I was recently doing my 2nd of the 3x3 trans fluid xchange... lowered the car to ground level to get the last of the fluid out. Once the drips stopped, I leaned in on the top of the engine to do some other inspection, and when I did, a little more fluid came out of the drain hole. Got me to thinking... if I now raised the back of the car, would I get more than 3 quarts out of the drain, and if so and knowing how much, would that be a more effective drain process? Anyone else done this to get more out of the torque converter?

When I did first change, I did it on a hot engine/transmission and I got almost 4 quarts out of transmission using ramps (raised front only). Second time I did it on a cold transmission and I got 3 quarts only. Maybe there is some kind of thermostat that shouts off radiator. But I do not think that lowering front will give you much advantage if anything I'd think that raising drivers side only would be most beneficial. I do not think you need to go through all this trouble even with 3 quarts drained every time. I didn't feel much difference after first change but after second 3 quarts it feels like I am driving a new car. I honestly didn't think it will do much and thought that some of the people will do anything just to spend more time with their car. I was wrong.

Usually if only the front end raised, the drain won't yield 3 quarts, it will be less.

The car should be level when draining your transmission fluid.
