Yellow warning/caution light under tachometer?

Do I need to take my car in to run codes if the yellow warning/caution light came on? The light went off after I turned the car off and on.

The codes will be stored in the memory and can be read pretty much anytime. Take it to an Autozone or similar---I believe they will read codes for free. When you get the code, post it up here and someone can tell you what it means.

That's the VSA triangle and signals that they system is currently active (flashing) or it's off (solid on). After a restart it will revert automatically back on even though you turned it off via the button on the left side of the kick panel.

I may have accidentally touched the VSA button when I was adjusting my mirrors as I was driving. So there's nothing to worry about, right?

That's absolutely right. If you accidentally touched the VSA button while adjusting the mirror you would get that signal on the dash until you press it again or re-start the car. No harm no foul.

We used to call it the 'Donut Button' on a prior RWD car; you couldn't do donuts in the snow until you turned it off!
