Worst week ever
On 12/12 my car was stolen. It was recovered 2 days later unstripped or it......I was elated when I got my car back in 1 peace not a care in the world that it was stinky, dirty and had obviously gone to hell and back. 1st thing I did was go throght the major stuff to see what damage I had and then had an appt for my personal mechanic to got through it.
Making a long story short: no oil was in it (i changed it 2wks earlier), little power steering fluid, little brake fluid, they played with my APEX'I air af converter, tried to emply the NOS system and other lil things that make my TL the best around. Here's my question, while driving on the fwy a few days later (after fixed problems) the car almost stalled at 45mph, then no response from accelerator, tried shifting using shifter no response, the VSA lights and engine light flashing, rpms leveled out at 1800 not allowing to go above or below. Few other things I don't remember. Any hypothesis' as what or why? I understand Im asking for a miracle without physically having the car. Thanks

The car is designed to go into limp mode. I am not sure what exactly happens but that sounds like what happened.
No oil at all? A motor won't survive very long with no oil.
Having NOS installed, you probably can be assured at it was beat to death. If you plan on keeping it then I'd do as others suggested and get the motor rebuilt. Probably should go through the transmission as well if it's a 5AT.
It's too bad people have to be that way. I feel bad for you especially this time of year. Good Luck with whatever you decide.

Thanks. By no oil, I was exagerating a bit, when I checked the oil the dot was barely haning on the to stick, way below the L. The NOS bottle was not in the car, they screwing with the electrical to it along with the trigger.
Thanks for the advice!.....New trans was installed less than 6months ago with a 36000 mile warranty

If you have auto insurance, I would continue with the claim on your theft TL and have the Acura dealer give it a complete check. The insurance company should give you coverage for the damage to your car.

Looks like your car was treated like a POS. I am really sorry for what you had to go through, but sounds like an engine problem. Did you say the car wouldn't shift or shifting didn't help? Cause that could determine a transmission problem as well.

Did you check your APEXi AF Converter to make sure the settings wasn't changed? If they messed with everything else then surely they tinkered with it too. I remember when I had one on a teggy in Japan, the settings were wrong and went through the same issues. BTW, I thought our cars didn't like them. Please PM me on how you got it tuned.

That is totally eff’d Up. To take something soulful investment like your customized whip and destroy it like a bunch of Haters. Then they gave it back like nothing happens. You had a bunch of dream parts in your ride that I can’t afford. I am sorry for your pain, Karma is a Mutha…
