I have an 04' TL with navi and I can roll down all four windows from the front driver's side switch but when I try to reverse all four windows the right rear window does not reverse. At first I thought I didnt pull up on the switch hard enough so I tried again and again and the right rear window would not reverse. I was able to properly reverse the window only when I climbed into the back seat and used that particular window switch.

I remember having a problem similar to this on an old Honda Civic and it ended up being a corrosion problem on the terminals of the window switch. The switch worked properly again once I cleaned the terminals. I haven't had the chance to take my window switch for the TL out yet but I can't imagine it having the same issue. Has anyone had any problems similar to this? A new window switch was roughly $320 at AutoZone!!!! WTH?!?! Help.....

Is there a fuse that could be causing this problem? Or maybe I just need a new switch?

Not a fuse I think; not if it's just that one window. And especially if it's only the up/reverse direction.


Your other guess might be on target. Not sure how to access that switch, but if you have to remove the door panel there are DIY's (pretty sure) in the 3G Garage.
