Question Will a bad mount cause this?

Hello: Do you think a bad engine mount will cause the 4 to 3 downshift to more pronounced? I only ask because it does not feel bad; but I can certainly feel the power train move during this downshift. I can feel the other downshifts hardly at all.

Already done switches and racing atf change. Switches done less than 500 miles ago along with a 1x3.

I do believe I need at least one mount replaced regardless.

Any thoughts?

The 3g TL has a a few mounts, motor, tranny and front subframe. All are important. What ever mount is broken, you should replace. My car had a rough ride, it had the upper right side mount shot and the subframe mounts all shot. I replaced them and the car was a totally different car. The ride is superb and no noises to complain about. I don't know if it will affect the 2nd to 3rd gear shift as you say.

Can you elaborate on what your presenting symptoms were? Clunks, Rattles, Bouncing, Unsteady cornering or etc? Much appreciated.
