Why do my headlight turn off while driving?

Why do my headlight turn off while driving?
Okay so I recently got some headlight bulb for my 2005 Acura tl and they look nice and everything but the problem is that they turn off when the switch is still on and while driving too

Maybe your ballasts are bad Do they flicker when you drive over a bump at all?

Maybe your car saw the movie Airplane! and decided it would be funny to impersonate Johnny in the control tower when the runway lights went out having pulled the plug and going "just kidding, Nyahaha". go to 4:55
