Hi Guys,
I have recently noticed a slight whining noise when i start my 2008 TL. It is not restricted to just cold starts in the morning but also in the evening when the temperature is around 80 F. It goes away or atleast dampens after a few seconds of idling. Any idea what it could be?

P.S I have 16000 miles on my TL

sounds like a belt.

 

accessory belt, replace it and ur problems will be solved

 

probably belt for the power steering pump.
