Hey guys,

I have an 06TL auto and every time you accelerate from a stop you hear a whining noise most likely coming from the transmission.

Also when you are changing gears, be it from D to R or viceversa there is a 1-2 sec delay from the time you actually get it into gear to the time where the car starts moving.. sometimes you hear it snap into gear.

I am not sure if it's normal, the car has 58K miles, would that be covered under warranty if it is an issue?

 

I saw something like this on you tube, not sure if it is the same issue you are having but I would go to the dealer and get it looked at.

I had the same annoying whining noise - Dealer replaced the tranny under warranty.

I still have the delay issue...going back in tomorrow to get that checked out.
