Mod Note - English is the OP's second language, so should anyone decide to mock instead of help... they will get a vacation.

Are you having issues with your brakes? I'm trying to figure out what would make you ask this question. In an average car about 70-80% or your braking is done with the front brakes and 20-30% with the rear. So to answer your question, if everything in your car is in proper working order, all four brakes are used to slow your car.

No need to turn the rear rotors unless they are warped.

How does the braking feel "unnormal" to you? Can you describe it?

Please no offense, but is English your second language?

You might get a better response to your thread if you posted this in the specific vehicle forum. For example, if it's a TL, I would post it there since some members may have had the same issue as you whereas here people just look for car talk that does not necessarily fit the other Acura sub forums.

Now, are you saying that if you apply and hold even pressure on your brakes the car doesn't stop smoothly? Sounds like you have some binding but I can't determine that from your info. Did you take this to a shop or did you do this yourself?

If you did it yourself I would triple-check everything. You don't want to be playing with your safety with something like this. Actually better yet, with issues like these I would be inclined to bring your car to a certified shop.

Well, if the rotor is not smooth (warped), and you put brand new pads on, then it will feel very odd when you stop. The steering wheel will shake, and the pads will only grab where it's flat.

I would say have the rotor turned, have the pad shaved flat (I have heard of shops that do this) or get new pads, but most important is to "bed" or seat the pads. This usually means you have to drive the car somewhere that is wide open. Try this link:

Tire Rack Brake help

It's also in Spanish if that is your first language.

It sounds like some of your rotors might be warped. My front rotors have warped twice in the past year and a half, so unfortunately, I am familiar with warped rotors. Do you feel any vibration being transmitted through the brake pedal?

Hmm...OP stated that he's had the front rotors turned

Has this problem started immediately after you changed the front pads and turned the rotors or was it present before?

The rotors may not have been fully resurfaced. It sounds like the surface area is uneven. That's why it feels like it's grabbing and releasing, i.e. abnormal braking, even when you are applying even pressure on the pedal.

But this would be accompanied by vibrations in the steering wheel.

It could also be a problem with the brake booster, but check the obvious suspects first, like the pads and rotors... again.

sounds like the brake line that goes to the caliper may be twisted, pads may be on wrong(metal against rotor instead of pad material) or even air in the lines if not bled.
