wheel bearing replacement

So my car is falling apart. First my axles are shot, now my rear bearings sound done as well. Sounds like theres a helicopter in my trunk.

What do I need to replace the rear bearings? I have a hydraulic press, but what parts do i need specifically? Thanks!

what year is your car and how many miles? When did the axles go bad and what were the symptoms? I'm dealing with a vibration in the front on my 06 and I'm starting to think it could be an bad axle/ halfshaft. I'm at 50k miles. I don't experience any funky noises, but the vibrations/wobble feeling come and goe at different speeds and is clearly coming from the front.

BTW, I believe the rear bearing comes as full hub assembly and is fairly easy.

.

ive got about 60k on the car, its on 05. axles went bad within the last couple thousand miles.

i know i could buy the whole hub assembly but that would be more expensive than just replacing the bearings.

I haven't looked at them, but I'm sure they come as a full assembly.. I'm not aware of the bearing being obtainable alone..

on a related note.. I would hoist up the end and see if there is any wobble on the rear wheels when they're up.. take the wheel, rotor, spindle nut & hub off.. you should be able to tell if the bearing is toast.. also, another member said they had their half shafts go bad.. so best bet is to check both out.

acuraoemparts has the rears for around $130.. half shafts are about the same price.
