Post What would you do next.. AC

2006 Acura TL 62K miles. AC None functioning, with Florida heat .Power confirmed to Compressor However doesn't engage when AC turned on. Compressor coil ( Stator unit) was found defective, and changed (dealer OEM). AC functioned for 1 week and now compressor not engaging again. Power confirmed to compressor. All fuses intact. Worried about actually buying a complete new compressor if I will encounter the same problem.

If power is getting to the compressor, then the pressure switches are reading OK. Probably time for a new compressor clutch.

Before you do this, try a different positive wire - maybe straight from the battery. Also, make sure that the clutch is grounded OK.
