I had to go on a short road trip from Vegas to San Diego and did not want to be without any blue dream... Hid the dream and a grinder right next to the battery. Drove to SD, popped the hood and to my surprise the grinder has gone down this worm hole... Check out the pics and please tell me what this tube is and where does it go?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I tried to stick my hand and entire arm in there but the tube is to narrow and it starts to bend toward the back of the car about 6 inches down.... Gotta get the grinder out cuz 8 months of keef are in the bottom!! FML.

 

as you can see and found out, it bends.
get some one with smaller hands and longer arms.
its still there sitting there.
I've dropped many a tools down that air pipe.

 

damn, when ever I'm dry, I scrape the keef.
8mos is a long time!!!

i'll personally help you remove your bumper and take out the intake resonator to get everything out if you share half with me lol jk....you're 3 hours from me anyways.

 

Quick update to the missing Blue Dream situation... I tried to fish out the grinder with a bent coat hanger, cable, cord, string with a magnet and failed miserably over and over. Before removing the front bumper, I had a moment of brilliance and decided to remove the air filter. It took me about 25 minutes and a couple DIY threads to get the cover off... To my surprise the damn grinder traveled all the way through the intake tube and wound up underneath the air filter. I was shocked and pleasantly surprised!! Then I realized the top came off of the grinder and all of the blue dream and keef got sucked into the air filter...! I guess the amount of circulation in that tube is rather strong because the grinder weights about 6 oz empty and was sucked all the way through the tube, up a couple feet into the filter box... I wonder how fast the air travels at 80mph.... I added my own little illustration and wanted to thank everyone who posted!! The posts made me laugh hard and kept me motivated to find the grinder... Thanks again!! Smoke em if you got em!!

 

Hilarious! You know the trunk is always a good place for that kinda shiz! 8 months of keif is a lot, there is a lot of different things you can do with that.. I wish I had patience like that dude

 

^trunk isn't always a good choice if you're traveling a long distance like that. blue dream is stinky and i'd rather have that stuff in a non obvious spot like my engine bay which is ventilated...instead of my trunk, which when opened will reek to high heavens.

sorry you lost that 8month stash, OP. heartbreaking...at least you got your grinder back tho.
