I'm looking to buy a 07-08 TL type S automatic and i just want to know what problems should i be looking for when buying the car.

 

I'll start but should be the same for any used car.
CarFax
Maintenance records
Replacement glass
Tires, make, quality, uneven wear, proper size
Wheels for any curbbage
Body parts for VIN to see if any replacement
Overall quality, exterior/interior, nicks, dings,
Ride quality, brakes/braking, all accessories working, shift quality and fluid condition.
Depending on where purchased, good title.

One item I wanted to add is be on the lookout for any modifications.

thanks but anything specific that the dealership should have replaced under warranty like the tighten gas cap i see alot in this forum

 

Nope-Only item that needs to be replaced is the PS hose, piping and connections because of a Safety Recall.
