Its vacation time and i'm currently planning a road trip to virginia beach next week with my family. i will have to take my vehicule over there and from montreal to VA it is about 745 miles of driving. i know i have to make my oil change before i hit the road but i am a little skeptic of taking my baby for that long drive! i never changed the transmission oil and i wonder if i should do it. When i bought the car in december 2009 it seems like it was change. in april, the dealer told me that the transmission fluid was o.k what do you suggest to do? Take a ride to the stealership and let them do the inspection of the vehicule and also do the transmission fluid oil change or just do the motor oil change?

 

If it's an auto you cant go wrong changing the transmission fluid out. Hopefully some people familiar with the 3x3 fluid change can chime in on what you should use.

Other than that, check tires, oil, etc. If nothing on the MID is showing up then you should be good to go.
