Weird sound coming from glovebox area

When i start my car in the morning or after it has sat and cooled down it sounds like someone is behind my glovebox smoking a bong. It sounds like the cyprus hill song. And it is quieter when im in park, louder when im in reverse and when i go into drive it goes away. There are no leaks and tranny fluid is full. Any ideas.

Actually it sounds like some sort of drain might be clogged. I don't know what's in that area, so just a guess.

Not sure where the heater core is, but in other car's I've had, it's in that area. If so, might be something with the heater core.

As Bear said, it sounds like either the heater core or drain is plugged. Either way, you want to find out asap before the pot smoking leprachaun spills the bong back there. That stinky bong water will not be good!

Correct: heater core, evap coils, blower fan and drain tube all on that side. Check for any wetness on passenger carpet/floor mat. If it's wet, then you definitely have a blocked drain tube. This is very bad because the water can get into the PCM and fry it.

After you run your A/C and shut off the car, does any water drip on the pavement on the passenger side? Another sign the drain tube may be clogged.
