Weird Problem: Parking Lights Keep Blowing Fuse After LED Install

So I installed all LED lighting. Interior with just white LED's, the rear turn signals, and the front turn signals,as well as plug-in LED bulbs for the fog lights just until i relocate the fog lights.

I wired in load resistors for the front and rear turn signals. Everything works great, no problems except the fact that my parking lights: all side markers, the front turn signal LED bulbs wont light up half power, and the rear tail lights don't light up at half power either (brake lights work). The fuse for this system is blown, replaced the fuse, and turn the lights on, they all come on for a split second then the fuse blows again.

Anyone have a similar problem happen before after installing LED's?

Is it because LED's use less power, there is a "power surge" or something that causes the fuse to blow?

Any input is helpful thank you.

Make sure nothing is shorted. Check all connections.

^ yes definitely a short. I doubt its the interior lights because those will run on a different fuse. Undo your exterior light work. My guess is you have a load resistor mis-wired.

+1 and if you want to find the short just replace the blown fuse with a wire (and have a fire extinguisher handy to put out your car)

Sorry. Couldn't resist. Just check your wiring.

i had the same problem i installed mine on the licence plate light and it would short out my fuse. i ordered some different ones from amazon they worked good. the ones i bought for the licence plate light are now used for the reverse lights and work fine now for some reason unknown. i think those bulbs have a higher voltage or wattage or something for that fuse to burn out like it did.

Yeah I will have to go over everything again.. I know my load resistors are wired properly otherwise my turn signals wouldn't work fine. But I'll check it out later today and see what I find.
