Weird Oscillating Vibration Felt in Wheel
08 TL Type S Automatic.
This is a tough one to explain. For as long as I can remember my car has slightly pulled to the left, and I have just gotten used to that and had a slightly off-tilted center steering position.
On the highway I've noticed recently that when my wheel is positioned slightly to the left of my "center" position, I feel a oscillating vibration in the steering wheel, but ONLY when accelerating/giving gas. Once I remove my foot from accelerator while in this position, the oscillating vibration in the wheel stops and the car then slightly begins to drift further to the left than it was when accelerating.
This is beyond weird and I have no idea what could be causing this - any theories? Thanks for any input.

There are way more qualified folks than I to respond, but have you taken it in for an alignment & balance. It almost sounds like someone did some work on your rack or something else that required removing something related to your steering. They didn't mark it and when they put it back together everything was off a click or two. When I replaced a rack on an '05 several years ago (will never, ever do that again), I remember the videos mentioned that you had to mark and secure everything. If not, when you re-assembled things, something would be off. Just my 2 cents.

I had a torn LF forward control arm bushing. When I replaced it, it resolved a slight pull I had in the alignment.
Oscillating vibrations on power always make me think inner CV joints. They do wear, although usually only after a boot teas.

To @94CivicSi 's point, I was just researching how to do an axle replacement on my wife's van and came across this video. The link starts at the point where he discusses vibration as a symptom of a bad axle/inner CV joint when accelerating:

I think there's also a bolt you can tighten or loosen on the steering rack to tighten up steering feel...might be worth a shot.
Axles are notorious for a little weird shimmy under light load from like 25 to 45...
highway speed vibrations SHOULD be wheel balance related. These cars are very sensitive to it.
