So I picked up an HIM and was tinkering around. Updated the ECU with an update that Honda/Acura had. But I also ran a full DTC check (there is no CEL on the dash) and there are a bunch of these Body Electrical DTC's. I reset it and drove around for a day and it is back. I ran tests on the headlight no problems at all. I did not see or notice any glitches in the gauges.

What do you guys think? I did search Google and found one forum where a person with a 07 TLS had similar error message but his dash gauge actually did glitch.

I wonder if it has to do with changing all the interior bulbs to LED's. It may be failing the check.

 

Did you just pick up one of the HDS's that are floating around on Ebay for $130 or so?

 

Well I picked mine up from a local shop here in Toronto for 190 bucks, I picked up the Honda HIM.

It's pretty much saved me at least 400 bucks in software updates from the stealership if we assume they charge for an hours labor.

I've got 3 acura's and 1 honda in my family. Also updated and diagnosed my coworkers CRV.

BTW my pops accord hybrid, and the 3 acura's in my signature all had at least one ECU update each.

 

do all of your doors lock/unlock by hand and by the remote?
