Exclamation Weird DRL Problem - Need Some Electrical Assistance!

I'll make this short and to the point.

Problem - The bulbs do not work when you turn the ignition on. Installed DRLs and Kit were from iJDMToy. Plugged in everything correctly. No DRL shows up. HOWEVER, if you just tap the 40A relay with your palm, the bulbs do turn on with no flickering and stays on until the ignition is off.

Now you might think that the 40A relay is bad. But I've tried swapping out 2 different (and new) 40A relays and it produces the same problem -- doesn't turn on when the ignition is on, but when I tap the relay with my hands the bulbs are on. Fully.

So I really have no clue how to keep the bulbs on... I don't want to manually pop open the hood and tap the relay everytime I want the DRLs to work. It's too much of a hassle and it shouldn't be doing this in the first place

Some info about the items:
Bulbs are 68-SMD HB3's
50W resistors, but no indication of how many ohms (I'm guessing 6).
Kit from JDMtoy as shown here

I own a '08 Base.

If anyone can help, that would be great!

I reverse engineered the harness when I got mine. pretty self explanatory. The pic here shows it perfectly(short of the relay pinning):

main thing to keep in mind is that one side connects to the stock harness's positive only, and the other side connects to the negative only. For some reason it won't work any other way.

Unfortunately this kind of problem cannot be properly diagnosed over the internet so you will just need to do a little trial and error on your side. As for only working when you hit the relay thats a bit unusual, I think another member had a similar issue: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-problems-fixes-114/relay-led-drl-not-harness-acting-up-888191/

I have the same issue but I opted for a relay from TheRetrofitSource/vleds.com. It doesn't have that second lead that plugs into the negative of the Passenger. I'm not sure what else it could be either :/

After looking at the thread paperboy posted, I went out and bought me a new relay from Fry's. Replaced the current relay and the DRLs worked like a charm.
