Just installed my led DRL's purchased the resistor kit and the relay harness,
My issue is I am still getting the DRL light on the dash. I currently have them hooked up with the resister pack on passenger OE plug with other side of resister pack open.VLED relay harness connected to both DRL's and the driver
Side OE harness plugged into the relay harness,power and grounds are connected to relay harness. Any one else have this issue? 07 type's

 

No one else has had issues or are you just putting up with the DRL light on?

What I did was plug in resistors to each side (drivers and passengers). I then plugged in the relay harness to the drivers side switch only and plugged in the passenger side DRL bulb into the DRL harness (yes, avoiding the passenger OE plug altogether). Try this!

So I tried your suggestion and it did not work, if I don't have the resister pack plugged into passenger side factory plug I get no drl's. As soon as I connected the resister to the factory plug they came on. I have also noticed the lights on the relays are not on which seems strange too me so I will mess with my grounds more later, i just don't think it's ground related since they actually work

 

did you ever solve your issue? Im in process of installing mine and bulbs not even coming on. I'm going to double check my ground on passenger side and see if that works. Also going to hook each light up to the factory wiring and see if they light and get DRL warning light on dash to confirm the lights are good (they should be as they are brand new).

 

Yes they work I just have not messed around with them yet to get rid of the drl warning light

My passenger OE plug is not connected to anything..
