Vibration while applying the brakes.

I got a used 2004 Acura TL. When i test drove it I would feel vibration/slight shaking when I applied the brakes(1-50mph). The dealer resurfaced them and the problem went away, when i was driving home on the highway it started doing the same thing. At low speeds 40mph and down it doesnt vibrate or shake, but at 50+ it will. Any suggestions?

Warped rotors...resurfacing them is only a short term fix.

Time to replace them with some quality aftermarket rotors and new pads.

Are you looking for a performance-oriented setup or just an "adequate" one for daily driving?

Hmm, how about, best bang for the buck? By best bang, I mean longevity, quality, noticeable increase in performance from oem ect. I don't need products road racers use, lol.

I can usually get those for a fairly good price from my buddy over at Import RP.

BTW, plain rotors (ones that are not slotted or drilled) are least likely to generate noise. I'm not saying that slotted or drilled rotors will make noise, but they are much more likely to.

Also, performance pads such as Hawk HPS have a greater tendency to make noise than pads such as Akebono or OE, but the trade-off is better braking performance and fewer complaints of uneven pad deposits which can cause pedal pulsation.

It should run less than $225 with shipping for the front Brembo rotors and Hawk HPS pads.
