Sounds like a bad axle. The vibration goes away after you let go of the accelerator pedal ??

i agree ^ but just be safe and check the rest of your suspension components to make sure they are in good order.

Weird that the gas pedal would vibrate, being that it isn't connected to the engine. My car does the same thing at times, but not at those speeds.

It's an axle the hardest part is finding which one.... And there's not trick to it.... Just a guessing game...

Road Force (< name of tire balance machine) balanced or regular tire balance? The TL can be sensitive about tire balancing.

Road Force balancing may also let you know if one of the (front) rims is bent.

Welcome to AZ.

Tire balancing won't cure your issue. And idk what kind of mechanic wouldn't know how to diagnose a bad cv axle. You can't visually see if it's bad when it's an axle vibration. You can only swap out known good ones and test drive it to see if it got better. Considering you said yourself it only shakes on accel then goes away as soon as you let go of the throttle, I am confident, 100% it's an axle. And if you in New England and willing to drive, I will swap them out for you, at a fair cost. $60 per axle.

since you're on coils, try raising your car up about another 1/2in see if the problem is still present. These cars hate being dropped a certain amount..

Connecticut. Hartford. Just bring a known good axle for each side. We'll start with the drivers. Since its the easier side.
