Hi
I have 05 TL automatic and I have it for two years and as far as I remember it was very hard to turn the steering wheel especially
when the engine is cold.And when the car is still you can turn it all around without problems but when it is warm and let say you want to park it is very hard to turn
I have 80000 miles and always made recommended repairs.
any ideas what can cause it and how to fix it??

Maybe ur powersteering is leaking, take ur car to the dealer and get it checked out, i think its covered even if ur outta warrenty. Cuz it could start a fire.

 

Literally a week ago while my '06 TL was being serviced, my Acura specialist guy discovered that my power steering pump was leaking. Prior to that, I felt the steering was a bit hard so this made sense to me. They replaced both the pump and hoses, etc. and it's back to a smooth and sporty feel.
