so i ordered some of the newly released vled drl fix for the drls... the ones that suppose to fix the drl light on the cluster and give enough power to light up the DRLs....

so i plugged one module on the passeger drl... im running 55w hid for the drl... and the driver side turns on but the passenger stays out... within 30sec the module starts to smoke and the driver side turns off... so it burned out within a matter of seconds.

i plug another module in thinking it was a fluke, and the same exact thing happened. the module burned out... im out $$ and my DRLs still do not work...

anybody know what happened??? i installed 55w 5000k hid in place of the DRLs and i ordered the VLEDs modules in hopes of fixing the problem, but nothing

looks like you drew too much current through the module and smoked it by using a 55 watt HID instead of an LED bulb like what the module is designed for.
