Using fuel injector cleaner
Using fuel injector cleaner
O.k so i am about to do my 1st oil change on the car (just bought it last month) and im going full synthetic, sales rep at advance auto said i should try out some fuel injector cleaner too... Never thought of it... Any of you guys recommend doing this
^no.
our cars run clean.
if you pull your intake manifold you'll see that it is clean.
there is no need for any fuel cleaner.

not necessary.
as long as you use a premium fuel (91-93) you won't have any need to a fuel injector cleaner. he's just trying to sell you some snake oil.

^ +1 . They get points for upselling shit like that. Don't buy it. Anyways, even if you needed an Injector cleaner. You'd want a shop that has the pressurized cleaning system to perform the task. They run it thru right at the rail and the car runs off only the cleaner (no fuel) until it stalls.
