The rocker switch may be bad, you might have to replace it. Replacement isn't that difficult. Follow the instructions for the light bulb replacement but rather than replacing the bulbs, replace the switch!

Take the airbag out of the steering wheel and check the connection before you buy anything. If you check the connection and it is fine, then you may consider replacing the piece.
To remove the airbag, first disconnect the battery. Then remove the plastic cover on the bottom of the steering wheel with a flat head screwdriver. Unplug the airbag (yellow connector). There is a 10mm screw on each side of the steering wheel.. remove those and pull the airbag out of the steering wheel. Do not yank it out because before it is completely loose, you will need to unplug the connection for the horn. Once the airbag is off, you will see the connections going to those switches on each side of the steering wheel. If you need to remove one of the switches, there are holes in the rear of the steering wheel. Each one of the switches has two screws holding it to the steering wheel. They take a phillips head screwdriver and are kind of a bitch to pull out. You'll have to pull the steering wheel all the way out and down to make room for tools and such. Take your time with those screws that hold on the switch, they are a bitch to remove and can strip if you are not careful.
Good luck!
