Type S LED Lights- How to fix them
Not really sure what to call these light but it is the two LED lights up by the garage door opener that shine down and make the center console, but in any event my friend pointed out to me that they were out which pisses me off because it is bugging the heck out of me.
Anyone know how to fix/replace these or had similar problems?
Thought it was kinda weird since LED's last forever if that is indeed what they are. Thanks for any help

Its the two little holes between the map light switch and the garage door openers. Both of them are out which makes me think something came loose or something. And this is an old pic both the lights are red haha

Well if anyone else has this problem i figured out what the problem is.
Turns our the entire assembly comes out and you can take it apart from there. Once inside there is a circuit board which you could imagine. The LED's that shine down for an accent are integrated in the circuit board and to replace them you obviously have to replace the board. Didnt research the price of the board because it doesnt bother me that bad but it still is annoying.
If for any reason someone needs pictures of inside this assembly I have about ten pictures from taking it apart to the circuit board.

you dont need to replace the board, just replace the LEDs, it is so much cheaper to just do that, I went through my entire car and replaced all the lighting. i left the blue accent lighting but replaced others. one example is the home link indicator light. It is supposed to be red, but i swapped the led to blue. Some more are the alarm indicator on the door and on the radio, again swapped red to blue. I would just desolder the LEDs and put new ones in.

Is it just me or are the LEDs missing? Use a point and shoot camera and use the macro setting to get a clear close up pic of the area in between the homelink buttons and the interior light switch, please. Do the entire span of the interior light switch and then some more.
