I have a 2008 Type S , that has had 4 Batteries and 1 alternator in 6 years ,
I have removed the HFL for the latest battery run NO help as today had to warranty the battery again ,

Batt #1 OEM original factory installed Battery lasted until 2011 =Normal warranty

Batt #2 replaced in 2011 under warranty

Alt went out and replaced in 2012


Batt #3 went out 10/2012 had to purchase battery again OEM factory replacement assumed the Bad alt may have caused the short life on battery

Batt #4 today 7/29/14 replaced under warranty

now I understand I live in AZ and it is 117 degrees but I believe there is something else wrong , when I have to purchase another battery I will NOT be getting an OEM battery , I will try my luck with an odyssey battery , I have them in my trucks and my RV and they actually start the engines faster. but did not want to mess around with my car and just wanted to keep her stock , but this is getting frustrating , any of you experts have any suggestions
