I've looked EVERYWHERE. ( likely not everywhere thats why I can't figure it out)

The first noise comes at random. It's like a huge "CRACK" noise or the noise you would hear if you tossed a rock at your window. Yeah I hear that every time I drive in my 05 TL. Its coming somewhere at the front windshield... like around the edges of it. can't seem to figure out what's happening. ( it doesn't affect the driving at all)

The second noise is when I accellerate from around 50km/h to 80km/h
I can hear a high pitched ringing noise. It doesn't go

RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII IIIIIING

but it sounds more like a ton of quick ring-ring-ring-ring-ring-ring-ring

it rings REALLY quick as if it sounds like a RIIIIINg all together


So if ANYONE has a solution or maybe even some insight onto these "issues" (not really issues) as Im just very curious as to what this may be, please without hesitation! thanks!

 

that cracking noise might be coming from the ac clutch compressor.

 

try turning on the a/c, it should get pretty loud, but once you turn it off the loudness goes away and the cracking noise begins.

 

I hear it all the time when i pull in my garage =)

hmm you seem to be right. I'm no car expert, but when I have the AC on, I hear that once in a while. Now is that a bad noise? good noise? regular noise? common... uncommon? anything too serious I should repair? but other than that, thanks for the replies. Helped me very much! ( btw, I'm 18 and I got an acura TL and proud of it)
