Two issues on my last road trip

I drove across the state for new years and had two issues. I have an 05 tl with 80,000 on the odometer. My cruise control switch made a crack sound and now it wont work. You can not press down on the top part of the cruise switch and I cant even get it to set. How do you change a switch in the steering wheel, I figured I better ask before I start prying. The dealer wants $200 to change it. Even if I have to remove the steering column I am not paying that. I checked the fuse and orange plug on drivers side, both look good. Second thing, when I press the clutch in it makes a pop sound when it gets close to the floor, about when it engages. Does something need greased?

Also, getting ready to change the spark plugs. I am putting in NGK iridium. Do you guys put anti seize on your spark plugs? I never have before and had a bud who says he always does.

Just put in my new tail lights, thought I would show them off

To get that switch out you have to diable the airbag system and take the airbag out to get to screws that hold the switch in.
I have a 5at so not sure about the clutch.

I always put minimal antiseize on the plugs when i change them. Just dont over load them
