Hi guys,

I think I might need an ECM update per TSB 04-016 (see attached). P2197 came on (it's now off, but still stored), and my long term fuel trims are consistently over +10% on both banks, with #2 slightly higher. My engine never stutters/stuttered, and I just used Lucas Oil injector cleaner.

Does the update sound like a solution to my problem?

Has anyone experienced this before? Thanks!

Additional Info: I bought this car Dec 2013, and it's been a pretty cold winter here in Minnesota (-20°F<T<20°F), with some relatively big temp swings in that range.

 

Better of getting it done than not. 0.2 -0.3 labor hours isn't it? Seems like that's worth removing the uncertainty and nervousness on your mind. Plus who knows what other changes they put in place within that software since the release on your car.
