So I really don't like the fact the trunk doesn't open up more. has anyone found a replacement spring that will raise the trunk all the way open. I currently have the deck lip. I searched and all that was talked about was the height that the trunk opened, not about possible replacement. Any ideas?

 

How much does yours open now? Because (and you may have stumbled across my thread when searching) I had an issue that when they reinstalled the springs on mine after installing the deck lip, they put the wrong spring on one side and it would barely open (less than an inch) and wouldn't stay open on its own.

If yours open like it did when new and you just want more, well don't know about that.

 

yea i kinda like when trunks open to a 45 degree angle when it is popped. stock the TL trunk barely raised like 5 degrees, its good for wen its raining so no rain get in, but not so good wen you have a lot of sh!t in ur hand

what i do like is that the trunk lid will stay at whatever position you leave it at.

 

Exactly, I hate taking 2 arm loads of groceries to the car. Then having to set down a few bags to open the trunk. Rain isn't a problem here in San Diego. I just want the damn things to pop up all the way. Not 6 inches not 12 inches.....all the way.
